I see it has a 10 year life span. Can I paint over it on a block wall? If so, what happens after 10 years; do I reapply it over the painted surface??

This video started out perfectly. Just the information I was looking for as trying to determine which product to specify for my client. The side by side visual of each product installed and how much it changed the look of the block was spot on what I needed to know. But then it stops too soon. Did all of the products work equally well? Did the cleaner get the graffiti off the space between the coatings without any coating?

Can you use it with zip sheathing? (Want to use insulated sheathing and that’s the only option for that solution)

I dont think you need to polish SS. it should self level. But if you want a matte finish you need to scuff sand it.

I don't see how this is superior to Zip tape 😮 You accidentally swipe against it under your arm and then now it's all over your clothes. You drop some on the ground unknowingly, step in it, and now it's all over the floor

The very steep slope used to demonstrate this is weird - no one has concrete at that angle - if we did we wouldn't be watching this... confusing video.

can i apply aluminum stick and peel on top of it as a 2nd line of defense? this is a florida build and worried about rain.. final is stucco .. let me know what you suggest

Not sure how this would work with a stucco assembly. My feeling is that you'd still have to put a paper barrier and attach lath on top of this system. Kinda negating the effort of doing this system.

At around 3:51 he says "when water and salt are mixed together, the freezing point is higher." This is incorrect. Adding salt to water reduces the freezing point of water. Not higher, but lower. Salt molecules block water molecules from packing together when temperature is lowered. It then prevents them from becoming ice. More water molecules leave the solid phase than the ones entering the solid phase. Freezing point depression occurs when the freezing point of the liquid is lowered by addition of a solute. On average, seawater in the world's oceans has a salinity of about 3.5 percent (35 g/L. Although the saltiness of ocean water varies, this lowers the freezing point of ocean water to about 28.8°F. You will note that 28.8F is LOWER than 32F; the freezing point of (mostly) pure water.
